Mill Spring, NC – Natasha Shanel McGraw, died at the age of 32, on the seventh day of October 2020 at her home in Mill Spring, NC.
Natasha was born on the 29th day of August 1988 in Hendersonville, NC and was the daughter of Newton Christian and Myra McGraw Christian of Hendersonville, NC. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Janet Christian, grandfather James Christian, grandfather Carl McGraw, uncle Derek Allison, and uncle Joey Staton.
Surviving include her son, Derek Heaton of Naples, NC and step son Cameron Ruff of Sunny View, NC, three brothers, Harley (Dawn) Christian of Hendersonville, NC, Corey (Jordan) Christian of Wellford, SC, and Donnie Christian of Moore, SC. One special grandmother, Frankie Allison of Hendersonville, NC, two aunts, Tracie Patton of Rutherfordton, NC, Melinda (Danny) Coker of Greenville, SC, one uncle Glenn Allison of Hendersonville, NC, and two special cousins, Chassidy (Shamar) Miller of Spindale, NC, and Lee (Elizabeth) Christian of Columbus, NC. Four nieces, Nimbus, Alexis, Hannah, and Madison. Three nephews, Corbin, Hayden, and Gage. And a host of cousins and friends whom she loved dearly.
Once her health declined and was unable to work, Natasha loved spending time outdoors, camping, being by the riverside, reading and spending time with her dogs. She loved her family and friends. Her spirit was so alive but her earthly body failed her. She fought her fight diligently until the end. We celebrate in knowing she is now completely healed.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3pm Saturday October 17th, 2020 at Crossroads Baptist Church, 1175 Melvin Hill Church Road, Campobello, SC 29322. Pastor Philip Wildes officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following service.
