FOREST CITY – Bobby Lee Tucker, 77, of Forest City, was called home to be with the Lord Sunday, April 2, 2023 at his home.
Bobby was born November 17, 1945 in Tryon to the late Roy Mingle Tucker and the late Mary Frances Burrell Tucker. He worked many years with Community Cash in Chesnee where he was the produce manager before retiring. Bobby enjoyed his early morning walks and spending time with his family. He was a fan of the Atlanta Braves and enjoyed watching NASCAR races. Bobby was also quick to make a corny joke to make others laugh. He truly cared about others and was always willing to help those in need. Bobby loved Jesus and accepted him as his Savior many years ago.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Tucker; sister, Aileen Constance; brother-in-law, Robert Constance; nephew, Jimmy Constance.
Left to cherish his memories is his sister Carolyn Wease (Mike) of Mooresboro; three nieces, Christy Simmons (Darnell), Becky Scoggins (Joseph) and Missy Shiflet (Grant); one nephew, Ricky Constance; one special grandson, Shannon Hudson (Carey). Also surviving are several great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. in the McFarland Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel with Dr. Chris Osborn officiating.
Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbus.
