Hendersonville, NC-- Annette Moody Pace was born on October 25, 1941 in Hendersonville, NC, and passed away on June 2, 2021.
Annette was a lifelong resident of Hendersonville and daughter of the late L. Kenneth and Lois Shepherd Moody.
Annette loved the mountains and was glad to be able to live there all of her life. She was saved and baptized into the Baptist Faith at 12 years old. She graduated from Hendersonville High School in 1959. Annette was a banker and long-time employee of the former First Union National Bank from 1959 until 1998 when she retired. She made many lasting friends while working there.
Always a volunteer, she was active in school activities including PTO and Girl Scouts. Annette helped with opening the Historical Courthouse in 2008. She was also active with Republican Organizations in Hendersonville.
Every morning she enjoyed feeding all kinds of birds and the white and grey squirrels on her deck.
Annette was predeceased by her husband, William B. Pace, who passed away on July 1, 2020.
Annette is survived by her daughter, Carole Oxtoby (Mark) and grandson, Tyler Oxtoby all of Saluda, NC her son, Blayne Pace (Dawn) and two grandsons, Logan and Colton Pace all of Danielsville, GA. She is survived by one brother, Ken Moody of Ft. Myers, FL.
She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother and will be truly missed by many.
A private service will be held at a later date.
