Columbus, NC - Willie Ima Moore, 92, of 1116 Old Hwy. 9, Columbus, NC died Saturday, February 19, 2011 at her home.Born in Altus, OK she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mattie Colbath Williams. She was the wife of Billie S. Moore, who died in 1997. She was a member of the Columbus Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.Surviving include two sons, Joel E. Lawson of Hartwell, GA; and Charles Clark Moore of East Tawakoni, TX; two daughters, Gail M. Dyer of Columbus, NC and Carol Kay Hughes of Escondido, CA. Also surviving are three brothers, Leroy Williams of Wichita Falls, TX; Paul Williams of Houston, TX and Laverne Williams of Bowie, TX; as well as 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at 7:30 pm Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the Columbus Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses with Mr. Clayton Fisher officiating.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Dr. Columbus, NC 28722.
