CAMPOBELLO, SC - William Eugene Seifert, 71 of Campobello, SC died Tuesday evening, December 26, 2006, at his home.Born in Knoxville, TN, he was the son of the late W.E. "Bud" and Dorothy Lane Seifert. He was a graduate of Wofford College and later received his Master of Divinity Degree from Duke University and a Master of Education Degree from Western Carolina University. He served as a United Methodist Minister for many years and later taught in South Carolina Public Schools. After retirement he worked for the Dower Organ Building Company. Mr. Seifert also volunteered with Mobile Meals and Hospice. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross, Tryon, NC having served in many ministerial capacities over the years. Surviving are: his wife, Patricia Burns Seifert; two sons, Wesley E. Seifert of Cary, NC and David H. Seifert of Lyman, SC; two daughters, Rebecca S. Fowler of Travelers Rest, SC and Deborah S. Yochum of Greenville, SC; three sisters, Winifred Corn of Moore, SC, Avriel Patrick of Greer, SC and Patricia Graves of Roebuck, SC. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren.Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2006 in the Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross, Tryon, NC with Rev. Dr. Michael Doty officiating.Burial will be in the church memorial gardens.Memorials may be made to the Memorial Concert Fund of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross, P.O.
