William “Todd” Gilbert, 43, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 25, 2026 at Atrium Heath Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.

Todd was born on July 5, 1982 at Fletcher Hospital. He was the son of and Dianne and the late Wade Gilbert of Inman, SC. Also surviving is a brother, Russell Gilbert; a niece, Savannah Gilbert; several aunts and cousins.

He was a graduate of Polk County High School, class of 2000. Todd never met a stranger; he loved people and loved sharing his love for Jesus with others. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed collecting NASCAR collectables. Todd also was a talented artist and loved to draw. He also enjoyed making Facebook videos to share with his friends.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Grassy Knob Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Mike Roberts.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. to 2:50 p.m.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
