COLUMBUS, NC -- William "Opa" Feilmeier, 80, of 100 Matthew St., Columbus, NC, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 in the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, NC.Born in Alberstorf, W. Germary, he was the son of the late Willibald and Maria Irlinger Feilmeier.Surviving is his wife, Hermine Weinzierl Feilmeier of the home. One son, Bill Felimeier and his wife Carol of Rutherfordton, NC. Two granddaughters, Stephanie and Christina Feilmeier.No services are planned.Memorials may be made to the William "Opa" Feilmeier Memorial Fund, 100 Matthew St., Columbus, NC 28722.
