Wanda Lee Thompson, 65, of Fort Worth, a mother, grandmother, sister and friend went to be with the Lord on August 29, 2022 in Fort Worth, Tx.Wanda was born to William Tedder and Doris Elizabeth Medford on November 20, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas. She had served in the United States Navy and was stationed in San Diego, California for her full enlistment. She loved her cats and spending time reading any chance she was able to. She had a room that had a multitude of bookshelves and every space was filled with a book, whether it was a sci-fi or a fantasy novel there wasn't an empty space on her shelves. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed the time she was around her three boys and their families. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and her brother William Tedder Jr.Those left behind to cherish her loving memory were her sons Jeremy Thompson and wife Sarah of Utah, Joshua Thompson and wife Andrea of Kansas and Mathew Thomson and wife Colleen of Utah; her grandchildren Trevor, Megan, Cooper and Mabel; her sister Michelle Scrivner and husband Ken of North Carolina; along with extended family members and a host of friends.A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at McFarland Funeral Chapel in Tryon, NC.
