Tryon, N.C.- Dr. Walter E. Zuschlag, 76, of 2626 Red Fox Road passed away April 23, 2006 at his home. Born in Illinois he was the son of the late Walter and Lydia Zuschlag and beloved husband of forty-seven years to Maureen P. Zuschlag. Dr. Zuschlag was a retired veterinarian.Survivors in addition to his wife include: Five sons; Alan Zuschlag of Flint Hill, VA, Geoffrey Zuschlag of Atlantic Beach, FL, Wayne Zuschlag of Chicago, IL, Eric Zuschlag of Riverside IL, and Raymond Zuschlag of Atlanta, GA. One daughter; Jennifer Arnold of Lorsch, Germany. Eleven grandchildren.Services and burial will be held in Chicago, IL.
