Virginia Ingraham Burr, 96, of 615 Laurel Lake Dr., Columbus, died Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Tryon Estates. She and her husband moved to Tryon Estates from Keowee Key, SC in 1992. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on February 14, 1921, she was the daughter of Henry Laurens Ingraham and Myrtle S. Ingraham. She was pre-deceased by her husband of over 50 years, Donald Harding Burr who died in 2003, and daughter Marilyn Burr Stelling, and son Donald Grant Burr.She was a member of Tryon Presbyterian Church since 1993 and active in the Tryon Estates community.A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017, at 10:30am at Tryon Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden, 430 Harmon Field Rd., Tryon, NC 28782.
