Mill Spring, NC - Violet Pauline Wilson Jackson, 90, of Mill Spring, NC, died Sunday, February 27, 2011 in Hendersonville Health and Rehab. Born in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Harvey and Ollie May Searcy Wilson. She was the widow of Claude Jackson who died in 1986. She was a member of Coopers Gap Baptist Church in Sunnyview, NCShe is survived by two sons, Ralph Jackson (Phyllis) of Hendersonville, NC and Jerry Jackson of Mill Spring, NC; two brothers, Clarence "Buster" Wilson and Calvin Wilson both of Sunnyview, NC; also surviving is a grandson, Trent Jackson (Melanie) of Candler, NC. She was preceded in death by a daughter and son Barbara and Marvin Jackson.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in Coopers Gap Baptist Church with Rev. Warren Elliott officiating.Burial will be in Coopers Gap Baptist Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends prior to the service Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the church.Memorials may be made to Four Seasons Hospice, 571 South Allen Rd., Flat Rock, NC 28731.
