Tryon, N.C. - Varena Mulderig, 79, of Warrior Mountain Road, Tryon, NC, died Wednesday, December 9, 2009. Born in New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Ora Hand. She moved to Tryon in 1993 from Mays Landing, NJ. Verena was an active member of the Tryon Kegglers and she loved the great outdoors. Surviving are: her partner Howard Simonet of Tryon, NC; a daughter Meredith Kebaili (Heri) of Miami, FL; a son, James Mulderig (Dawn) of Columbus, NC; 7 grandchildren, Christopher, D.J., Kenza, Conner, Dereck, Nikki and Jason and a brother Mickey Hand (Dee ) of Chews Landing, NJ.Services will be private. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
