Tracy Angela Holmes of Tryon, passed away, November 23, 2018 at Smith Phayer Hospice house after a long battle with cancer.Born in Greenville, SC, she is the daughter of Susan Bridwell Fender (Britton) of Easley, SC and the late Lloyd Whitmire. During her life, she became an avid animal lover, fostering and adopting animals. Tracy was a kind loyal true friend to all that knew her.Surviving in addition to her mother and step-father is her husband of 20 years, Neil Holmes; father-in-law, Dave Holmes (Marcie); mother-in-law, Anita Harbin (David; two brother-in-law's, Steve and Jeff Holmes; one nephew, Jacob Holmes; a host of cousins and their families, Marcia Ledford (Walter), Monica Ledford, Paul Bridwell Jr. (Lynn), Linda Bever (Andy), Yvette Lane (Keith), Manny McBride (Maria), Jessica Dolcimascolo (Paul), Stephen Bridwell Sr. (Melody), Stephen Bridwell Jr (Kendyl), Joe Bridwell (Melanie), Joe Bridwell II and Maegan Bridwell.A celebration of life and reception will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. of Saturday, April 27, 2019 at McFarland Funeral Chapel in Tryon, North Carolina.Memorials may be made to Bonnie Brae Veterinary Hospital Angel Fund, 155 Shuford Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
