Toni Young Morgan, 72, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Smith Phayer Hospice House in Landrum, SC.Toni was the daughter of the late Thomas Watson Young and Lillie Mae Toney Young. She previously was a Teacher Assistant at Sunny View Elementary School. Toni was a member of Coopers Gap Baptist Church.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Terrie Young.Surviving is her husband of 55 years, Norman Leo Morgan; a son, Dwayne Morgan; a daughter, Jennifer Morgan; two granddaughters, Savanah Ross and Sidney Scruggs; a grandson, Alex "Rooster" Ross (Chelsea); a brother, Bruce Young; and multiple nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Coopers Gap Baptist Church in Mill Spring, NC with Reverend Don Hollifield officiating.Burial will follow the service in the Coopers Gap Baptist Church cemetery.The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service, from 2:00 to 3:45 p.m.Memorials may be made to Coopers Gap Baptist Church, 730 Cooper Gap Rd, Mill Spring, NC 28756 or The Gideons International Processing Center, P.O.
