Tobias "Toby" Poni Jespersen, 15 month old son of Dustin Jespersen and Lauren Foster of Tryon, NC passed away, Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital, Columbus, NC. Surviving in addition to his parents is his sister, Jada Foster of the home; paternal grandparents, Chuck and Genell Pace Jespersen of Saluda, NC; maternal grandparents, Joe and Jane Newman Foster of Tryon, NC; one uncle, Miles Foster of Tryon, NC; one aunt, Leslie Jespersen of Saluda, NC. A funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC with Rev. Peter McDonald and Rev. Rob Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, NC. The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral chapel.
