COLUMBUS, NC - Theodora Nielsen, 83, of Tryon Estates, Columbus, NC died Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Tryon Estates Medical Facility, Columbus, NC.Born in Paterson, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Marjorie Scheibel Maurer. She grew up in Michigan and attended the University of Michigan at Rochester, MI, where she majored in French.Surviving is her husband, Paul Nielsen; one daughter, Karla R.
