Terry Allen Shehan, 45, of Mill Spring, NC passed away, Monday morning, November 21, 2016 at the Smith Phayer Hospice House.Born in Rutherford County, NC, he was the son of the late Horace Allen and Lillian Norma Ruff Shehan. He enjoyed spending time with his boys, cooking, racing, riding through the mountains, movies and music. He was of the Baptist faith.Surviving are three sons, Richard Nathaniel "Nathan" Shehan, Shannon Tylor Shehan (Kaitlyn) and a son, Seth; one brother, Calvin Ruff (Kari) of Sunnyview, NC; three sisters, Becky Nelon (John) of Sunnyview, NC, Wanda Russell of Mill Spring, NC and Pamela Tessnear (Brian) of Columbus, NC. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2016 in Midway Baptist Church with Rev. Peter McDonald officiating.The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the church.Burial will follow in Mill Spring First Baptist Church Cemetery.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.At other times, the family will be at the home of Pamela Tessnear, Columbus, NC
