Susan Violet Plumley, 89, of Rutherfordton, NC, died, Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in Willow Ridge Rehabilitation & Living Center, Rutherfordton, NC.Born in McDowell County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Norman Joshua and Sara Magnolia Chatham Williams. She was the widow of Earl G. Plumley, who passed away in 2001. Susan was a member of Crestview Baptist Church, Forest City, NC. She was a homemaker.A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Monday, February 12, 2018 in Crestview Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Rohm officiating.Burial will be private.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crestview Baptist Church Building Fund, 630 South Church St., Forest City, NC 28043.
