SALUDA, NC - Stephen Douglas Harrold, 52, of Saluda, NC passed away, Friday, July 4, 2014 at his home.Surviving is his mother, Ellen Llewellyn Harrold of Norfolk, VA; his companion and best friend, Betsy Anderson Singleton of Saluda, NC; two brothers, Thomas and Rick Harrold; three sisters, Mary Alexander, Kathleen Hill and Theresa Ornoff.A memorial service will be held at a later date in Virginia.Memorials may be made to "Love Lights", Cancer Care of Western NC, 21 Hospital Drive, 4th Floor, Asheville, NC 28801, Mission Foundation, 980 Hendersonville Road, Suite 300, Attn: Sharon Steele, Asheville, NC 28803 or Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
