MILL SPRING – Sherian “Sherry” Silvey Price, 82, of Mill Spring, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville.

Born in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Rufus W. Silvey and Nellie Keasler Silvey. Sherry was a graduate of Fairforest High School in Spartanburg. Sherry made her career as a stay-at-home mom raising her children and supporting her husband. She was an avid pianist having played at Victory Baptist Church, where she was a member and Pea Ridge Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with her children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forest Price.

Surviving are four daughters; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, one sister, Janice Huntley.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Pea Ridge Baptist Church. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. in the church cemetery with Reverend Bobby Capps officiating.
