COLUMBUS, NC - Sarah Jane Sain Davis, 75, of Columbus, NC died Monday, April 16, 2007 in Willow Ridge, Rutherfordton, NC. Born in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late William Zack and Lettie Thompson Sain. Mrs. Davis was the widow of Claude W. Davis who died in 1986. She was of the Baptist faith and was a loving mother, wife and homemaker. Surviving are four daughters, Bonnie Marie Davis Aman of Clinton, NC, Anne Davis Shilling of Homosassa, FL, Mattie Sue Davis Howell and Nancy Jane Davis Newman both of Bell, FL; two brothers, George Sain of Mill Spring, NC and Zack Sain of Spartanburg, SC; three sisters, Minnie Conner of Mill Spring, NC, Cordelia Searcy of Sunnyview, NC and Edna Lewis of Inman, SC. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2007 in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Mill Spring, NC with Rev.
