— Sandra Faye McCall White, 63, longtime resident of Verbena, AL passed away on Friday, January 8th at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster, AL.She was born in Polk County, NC and the daughter of the late Billy Phillip and Martha Ann Garrett McCall of Mill Spring, NC.  Sandra attended Polk Central High School and was a former member of Faith Baptist Church, Mill Spring, NC.  She was a longtime employee of Shoney's in Clanton, AL where she and her husband, Bruce, made their home.  Sandra loved meeting people and many became lifelong friends.  Sandra is preceded in death by her Father, Billy Phillip McCall; Mother, Martha Ann Garrett McCall and Brother, James Phillip McCall (Susan), Marion, NC.  Surviving is her husband, Bruce White of Verbena, AL and Sister, Wanda Gorges (Dennis) of Brentwood, TN.  She has one Nephew, Andrew (Andy) McCall (Brandi) and their four children of Nebo, NC.A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 16th, 2021, at 2:30pm, from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton, AL.  A gathering of friends took place from 1:00pm to 2:30pm before the service.
