Landrum, SC -- Ruth Bryan Linnon, 82, of Lakeshore Dr., Landrum, SC, died Saturday, March 17, 2007 in National Health Care in Greer, SC.Born in Marion County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Eva Smith Bryan. She was a graduate of Rains High School in Rains, SC and Spartanburg General Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Linnon retired in 1987 as an R.N. with St. Luke's Hospital. She was a longtime member of the Lake Lanier Association.Surviving is one daughter, Joyce Linnon of Spartanburg, SC and one son, J. C. Linnon, III of Marietta, GA. Also surviving is one granddaughter and 2 great-grandsons.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2007 in Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbus, NC.Memorials may be made to Foothill Humane Society, P.
