Russell John Anderson, 56, of Tryon, NC, died Friday, March 9, 2018 in Pardee Hospital, Hendersonville, NC.Born in Suffern, NY, he was the son of the late William Robert and Audrey Malay Andersen. Russell enjoyed hiking in his spare time. He was employed by Texas Instruments and Bosch before moving to Tryon, NC to care for his parents. He will be missed by all who knew him.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Robert William Andersen, who passed away in 1986.Surviving is a sister, Gail Kirkham (Tom) of Lindenhurst, IL.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018 in McFarland Funeral Chapel.Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
