SALUDA, NC - Roy Diaz of Saluda, NC passed away, Monday, September 12, 2011 at his home.Born in Havana, Cuba, he was the son the late Rogelio and Carridad Manzano Diaz. Mr. Diaz was a retired truck driver. He moved to Saluda in 1993 coming from Miami, FL.Surviving is his wife of 38 years, Kaye Laughter Diaz; three sons, Randall Diaz (Christina) of Hollywood, FL, Roger Diaz (Dreya) and Ron Diaz (Leisha) both of Saluda, NC. Also surviving are eight grandchildren.Private services will be held.Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Saluda, P.O. Box 95, Saluda, NC 28773.
