Rosemary Kingsley, 87, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026 surrounded by her family.

Rosemary was the daughter of the late Edwin and Louise Mischler Kempf. During her working years, Rosemary was a registered nurse and dedicated herself to helping others. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church.

Surviving is her husband of 64 years, Deacon Art Kingsley of Tryon, NC; three sons, Gerry Kingsley (Leah Kane) of Charlotte, NC, Jim Kingsley (Shelly) of Hendersonville, NC and Ron Kingsley (Stacey) of Hendersonville, NC; several loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; and three siblings, Ed Kempf, Terri Walsh, and Tom Kempf.

A visitattion and rosary will be held at McFarland Funeral Chapel in Tryon, NC on Monday, August 31, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a rosary stating at 6:30 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Tryon, North Carolina.

Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbus, North Carolina
