Inman, SC - Robert Larry Waters, 64, of 330 Spring Valley Lane, Inman, SC died Friday, June 29, 2007 in Columbus, NC.Born in Tryon, NC, he was the son of Ruby Owens of Tryon, NC and the late Willie Waters. He was Chief of Security at Tryon Estates in Columbus, NC for the past fourteen years.Surviving in addition to his mother, are his wife: Carolyn G. Waters of the home; one son, Tim Waters (Christy) of Roebuck, SC, a step-daughter, Wendi Griffith (Jack) of Columbia, SC; two brothers, Charles Waters and Ted Owens (Elna) both of Tryon, NC; two sisters, Brenda Lewis and Polly White (Billy) both of Campobello, SC. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Mitchell & Meagan Waters, Morgan Griffith and Zachary Jensen. Larry was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Waters and a sister, Mary Smith.A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 3, 2007 in Tryon Estates Auditorium, Columbus, NC with Rev.
