Robert King (Bob) Margeson of Columbus NC passed away peacefully at his home in Tryon Estates on August 27, 2021.  He was 86 years old. Bob was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on April 29, 1935 to the late Richman Stanley Margeson and Miriam King Margeson. He is survived by his wife, Robin Hale Margeson (married April 2, 1972), and two daughters, Jennifer Margeson Hull and Heather Margeson Carr Smith, born of a prior marriage.Bob served in the United States Navy and was a volunteer in the United States Air Force Ground Observer Corps. He was an avid Ham Radio enthusiast and a member of the local Ham Radio Club.No services are planned per Bob's request.
