- Robert Bruce Carpenter, 75, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017.Born in Roane, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Bruce and Mary Gllispie Carpenter.Surviving is a brother, Kenneth Carpenter (Anna) of Forest City, NC.A graveside service will be held at Daughty Cemetery in Elkview, Roan County, West Virginia at a later date.
