Green Creek, N.C. - Robert Lewis Camp, III, 62, of Cox Road, Green Creek, NC died Tuesday, February 27, 2007 in the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC. Born in Polk County, NC, he was the son of the late Robert Lewis, II and Correll Ezell Camp. He attended Green Creek School and had worked for Cowan Tire & Battery in Forest City, NC. Mr. Camp was a member of Green River Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Rosa Conner Camp of the home; four sisters, Ruby Shehan of Mill Spring, NC; Pauline Gibson of Forest City, NC; Hazel Moore of Anderson, SC and Marie Parker of Marion, NC. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette Gowan who died in l993. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007 in the Green River Baptist Church, Green Creek, NC (Rutherfordton) with Rev. Gary Curtis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2007 in the Green River Baptist Church.
