COLUMBUS, NC - Ricky Lane Marlow, 56, of Columbus, NC passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013 at his home.Born in Charlotte NC, he was the son of the late James and Joyce Brewer Marlow. Mr. Marlow moved to Columbus twenty years ago coming from Winston-Salem, NC. He worked as a brick mason for many years and was an avid arrowhead and coin collector and golfer. He was of the Baptist faith.Surviving is his wife of 22 years, Janet Cox Marlow; two sons, Jamie Hart (Christina) of Malvern, PA and Steven Marlow of the home; two daughters, Heather Nichols (Tim) of Greenwood, SC and Tasha Hart of the home. Also surviving are five grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 24, 2013 in Daysprings Christian Church, 106 Jones Street, Landrum, SC.The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church.
