Columbus, NC - Richard Alan Haug, 44, beloved father and husband of Keith Lane, Columbus, NC died Friday, May 11, 2007 at his home. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, he was the son of the late Richard R. and Holly Scaglione Haug. He worked at Stott's Ford as a mechanic. Surviving are his wife, Laurie Green Haug of the home, two sons, Richard Alan Haug, Jr. and Robert Elliott Haug both of the home; one daughter, Kimberly Haug of Mill Spring, NC; two sisters, Chrissy Nelon of Mill Spring, NC and Heidi Grover of Poughkeepsie, NY. One grandchild on the way, several nieces and nephews, three great nieces, and several uncles and aunts. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2007 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC with Rev. William Swink officiating. Family will be at the home on 17 Keith Lane, Columbus, NC.
