Mill Spring, NC--Richard Boney "Rick" Giles, age 66, born April 15, 1955 of Mill Spring, NC, died Wednesday, December 15, 2021. A native of Polk County, NC, he was the son of JB Giles and Mary Lee Jackson. A dedicated employee, he worked for Delta Electrical for 30 plus years.He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Doris Hooper, brother Donald Griffin, and son Brian Giles.A loving husband, father, and Papaw, he is survived by his loving wife, Kim Russell Giles, children: April, Ricky (Brittany), Andrew and his wife Courtney, Daniel and wife Rebecca, Vanessa, and Jennifer. Grandchildren: Bria, Jonathan, Mara, Leah, Asher, Koah, Kenslie, Kristyn, Blake, Amelia, Lillian, Scarlett, Eli and Laney, (and one more on the way). Brother: James, and sisters: Barbara, Dorothy, and Pat.Visitation will be at his home 10 Mary Lee Drive, Mill Springs NC. Saturday December 18, 2021 from 12-5pm as a drop in service.
