Columbus, NC- Rebecca Carole Moss Hutcherson, 67, of Columbus, NC passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 in her home.Born in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late M.C. and Mary Cooper Moss. Rebecca worked for Dr. James Bond optometrist office for 38 years doing clerical work and filing.Surviving are a daughter, Beth Hutcherson of Columbus, NC; three sisters, Sue Lynch of Lynn, NC, Priscilla Meyer of Wilmington, NC, and Cindy Horton formerly of Mill Spring, NC; two brothers, Don Moss of Mather, PA, and Tony Moss of Columbus, NC. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Randi Beth Henson of Ellenboro, NC. Rebecca was predeceased by a brother, Manny Moss and a sister, Bette Hunter.The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015, in the McFarland Funeral Chapel.No other services are planned at this time.
