Obituary
Mill Spring, NC-Reba Williams, 72, of Mill Spring, NC passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at home.
She was the daughter of the late Burton Blackwell and Lula Cowart Blackwell. She was a lifelong resident of Polk County and retired from St. Luke's Hospital after 30 years of nursing.
In addition to her parents, Reba was preceded in death by two sisters, Cleo Furledge and Betty Ward, and three brothers, Clifford Blackwell, Donald Blackwell, and Broadus Blackwell.
Reba is survived by her husband, Wayne Williams, two sisters, Evelyn Farmer (Rev. Henry) of Campobello, SC, Louise Sawyer of Landrum, SC, and one brother, Michael Blackwell (Reda) of Columbus, NC; two sons, Bryan Williams (Rachel) of Mill Spring, NC and Matthew Williams (Monica) of Inman, SC; five grandchildren, Ryan Williams, Sean Ralston, Jacob Williams, Savanna Williams, and Gus Williams, and six great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Silver Creek Baptist Church in Mill Spring, NC with Dr. Chris Osborn officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
