Randall Mark Miller, 62, of Columbus, passed away Friday evening, March 17, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family following a long illness.Born in Villa Rica, Georgia, he was son of Ida Lynn Morris Miller and the late Billy Ray Miller. Mr. Miller was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp.Surviving in addition to his mother is his loving wife of 44 years, Linda Kiefaber Miller; one son, David Miller; two grandchildren, Finnley Miller and Leland Miller; one brother, Michael Miller (Alicia); two sisters, Kim Harris (Charles) and Kelly Frier (Timothy). Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. "The world will never be the same without our Mark."The family will receive friends Monday, March 27, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the McFarland Funeral Chapel.A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel with Dr. Chris Osborn officiating.Military honors will be conducted by the Polk County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard.Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain.
