COLUMBUS, NC - Phyllis Ann Ruegg, 82, of Tryon Estates, Columbus, NC passed away Monday afternoon, February 16, 2015 in Tryon Estates Medical Facility, Columbus, NC.Born in Denver, CO, she was daughter of the late Arthur Heers and Fanchon Donner Heers. She moved to Tryon Estates in 2004 coming from Connestee Falls, NC.Surviving is her husband of sixty-three years, Thomas Ruegg; six sons, John Ruegg of Brea, CA, William Ruegg of La Crescenta, CA, Richard Ruegg of Frisco, TX, Charles Ruegg of Belfast, ME, Mark Ruegg of South Windsor, CT and Scott Ruegg of Chantilly, VA; one daughter, Mary Jo Miller of Solomons, MD. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.No services are planned.
