Columbus, NC- Peggy Morgan Moran, 81, passed away, Monday, February 1, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital in Columbus, NC.Peggy was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Ethel Morgan. Peggy loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Lynn First Baptist Church in Lynn, NC.Surviving are her husband and companion of 34 years, Don Moran; two sisters, Annette Stott, Glenda Ashmore; two sons, Kent Shehan and Gary Moran; two daughters, Kim Ravan and Donna Nance; three grandchildren, Dana Mosseller, Callie Ravan, and Cody Ravan, and four great-grandchildren, Braelin Mosseller, Amilya Grace Ravan, Hunter Nance, and Kilana Nance. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.Peggy was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Burns and a brother, Glenn Morgan. A memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2016 at Lynn First Baptist Church, Lynn, NC with Dr. Jesse Yarbrough officiating.The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lynn First Baptist Church, Po Box 203, Lynn, NC 28750.
