TRYON, NC - Paula St. George Joyce, 92, of Overlook Circle, Tryon, NC, died, Monday, December 17, 2007 in St. Luke's Hospital in Columbus, NC.Born in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur St. George and Hazel Constance Knight Joyce. Paula was a long-time and active member of Tryon Arts and Crafts where she learned early American decoration, skillfully producing many pieces in that genre. She was an accomplished golfer and enjoyed the camaraderie of Tryon Country Club when not traveling abroad. She was preceded in death by her close friend and companion, Jean Boutilier, and will be missed by all who knew this spirited lady.
