COLUMBUS –
Paul Hines Ritchey, 84, of Columbus, passed away, Tuesday afternoon, June 4, 2024, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City.
Born in Polk County, he was the son of the late Joseph Buren Ritchey and Marion Louise Hines Ritchey. Mr. Ritchey was a graduate of Tryon High School and later went on to earn an associates degree in Georgia. He retired from Alderman Transport in Orlando. Mr. Ritchey enjoyed sightseeing in the mountains, going out to eat but, his passion was anything trains.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Becky Rome.
Surviving is his husband, Charles "Chris" Brevaldo-Ritchey; one sister, Marion Jo Lockhart (Delmos) of Spartanburg; nieces and nephews, Donna Lazar (Jeff), Bruce Lockart and Chris Rome.
