Tryon, N.C. - Paul Beiler, 58, of Little Mountain Road, Tryon, NC died Monday, February 4, 2008 as the result of an automobile accident. Born in Norfolk, VA, he was the son of Elva Beiler of Virginia Beach, VA and the late Menno Beiler. He was a carpenter and had been the owner and operator of Beiler Bakery for several years. Paul was a member of the Foothills Community Church, Columbus, NC. Surviving beside his mother are his wife of 38 years, Drusilla Kauffman Beiler; four sons, Mike Beiler (Marla) of Marysville, OH; Brian Beiler (Brenda) of Etowah, NC; Little Paul Beiler (Jen) of Columbus, NC and Andrew Beiler (Carmen) of Columbus, NC; a daughter, Amy Beiler Yoder (Jeremy) of Columbus, NC; two brothers, Marvin Beiler (Carolyn) of Meigs, GA and Merle Beiler (Mary) of Abbeville, SC and a sister, Pauline Swarztentruber (Richard) of Meigs, GA. Paul was preceded in death by a son, Darrick who died in 2002. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2008 in the Foothills Community Church, Columbus, NC with Pastor Jason Schlabach officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC.
