Patricia "Patty" Ann Litton Tucker  age 60, went to rest in the arms of her Savior on Wednesday November 24,2021 after a battle with Pancreatic cancer. She passed peacefully at home with her loving husband and sister in law by her side .We are sure her mother greeted her with one of her famous hugs.Patty was a pediatric nurse for 34 years. She began her nursing career at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Ga. then later she relocated to the Spartanburg, SC area with her precious mother and her two young children. There, Patty worked at Spartanburg Regional hospital on the pediatric unit and also worked with pediatric home health. For the past 14 years, Patty has worked with children with disabilities at The Deaf & Blind School in Spartanburg.She was such a caring and compassionate nurse. She had a special gift of connecting with special needs children in a tender & loving way. When her daughter Kayla was unable to raise her own 3 children, Patty and Rickey took in all three when they were just infants and they lovingly raised them like their own. Throughout her 9 month illness and battle with Pancreatic cancer, Rickey was right by her side as he was her sole caregiver.She was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Baxley ,step Father Henry Baxley and Father Clyde Rodgers and a sister Ginger WestShe is survived by her husband Rickey Tucker, of the home. Son Jonathan Litton of Roebuck, SC and daughter Kayla Litton of Rutherfordton, NC Grandchildren Layla, Jon and Zaliegh Stott of the home. brother Matthew Rodgers and Step Mother Loretta Rodgers of Inman, SC.She also leaves behind her faithful dog Mattie. Her sister from another mother Angie Dobos (Gary) and Special friend Sue Mcelroy that Rickey would like to thank for all their love and support. She also leaves behind several Aunts , Uncle, and CousinsPatty did not want a service so the family is honoring that wish.
