Columbus, NC -- Patricia Grace Reed, 80, of 15 Pine Tree Lane, Columbus, NC died Saturday, December 26, 2009 in St. Luke's Hospital in Columbus, NC. Born in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Arnold L. and Mary M. Williams Wardle. She was a volunteer with Thermal Belt Outreach and with Habitat for Humanity. Mrs. Reed was a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Tryon, NC. Surviving are two sons, Tim Wood (Laurie) of Landrum, SC and Tom Wood (Tracie) of Cape Coral, FL. Also five grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC with Dr. Darryl E.
