COLUMBUS, NC - Patricia Ann Burnett, 69, of Columbus, NC passed away Monday morning, September 24, 2012 in the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills, Landrum, SC.Born in Polk County, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Ila Mae Stacy Kuykendall and wife of the late Robert E. Burnett who died in 2008. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.Surviving are two daughters, Teresa Villa (Paul) of San Antonio, TX and Treena Meyers (Brian) of San Diego, CA; one son, David Burnett of Columbus, NC; five grandchildren, Ian Cody, Benjamin, Nathan & Aidan Meyers and Kyssa Villa.; one brother, Austin Kuykendall of Columbus, NC; one sister, Louise Morgan of Columbus, NC.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC with Rev. Jimmy Owens officiating.Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, NC.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night in the McFarland Funeral Chapel.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Dr., Columbus, NC 28722.
