Patricia Lynn Brady, 74, of Mill Spring, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

Patty was born in Hilliard, Ohio, and was the beloved daughter of the late Patrick Zimmer and Helen Sannizarro. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother whose joy and love of life touched everyone who knew her. She especially loved painting, finding happiness and peace in expressing her creativity, and often sharing that passion with those around her.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Brady; her children, James Gort and his wife Deanna of Charleston, SC; Kevin Brady and his wife Kayla of Rutherfordton, NC; and Colleen Powell and her husband Lee of Raleigh, NC; as well as her sister, Vicky Pagliai of Live Oak, Florida. She also leaves behind six treasured grandchildren Kaylee Gort, Austin Gort, Dalton Brady, Hannah Brady, Finley Brady, and Walter Powell and two great-grandchildren, Asher Gort and Aspen Gort.

Patty’s family and friends will forever remember her for her joyful spirit and the happiness she brought into their lives.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 28, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. at The Chardonnay Room at Parker-Binns 7382 Highway 108E Mill Spring, NC 28756. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate Patty’s life.
