Norman Wayne Luckadoo of Green Creek, NC passed away, Thursday evening, September 21, 2017.Born in Rutherford County, NC, he was the son of the late Norman Cone Luckadoo and Mafrey Hensley Luckadoo. Mr. Luckadoo retired from UPS and was a member of Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren. He was a dedicated family man and enjoyed fishing and hunting.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Luckadoo and three sisters, Ada McComas, Annie Mae Stacey and Mary Walker.Surviving is his wife of fifty-five years, Judy Hannon Luckadoo; one son, Brooks Luckadoo (Ashley) of Dallas, NC; two daughters, Andrea Wilson (Jeremy) of Forest City, NC and Leslie McDowell (Jeff) of Green Creek, NC; two brothers, John Luckadoo of Green Creek, NC and Charles Luckadoo of Rutherfordton, NC; one sister, Shirley Wagner of Chicago, IL. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Cassidy, Megan, Makayla, Alyesha, Emmie, Jaren and Reagan; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.A funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2017 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC with Pastor Tony Barker and Mr. Brooks Luckadoo officiating.The family will receive friends prior to the service Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at the funeral chapel.At other times, the family will be at the home.
