Nellie Kathryn Batson, 92, of Saluda, NC, died Thursday, November 16, 2017 in Autumn Care of Saluda, Saluda, NC.Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Nellie Bury Fowler. Nellie was the widow of Alvin Forrest Batson. She loved music, and enjoyed fishing and watching golf on television. She moved to Autumn Care of Saluda approximately three years ago. Nellie had attended Travelers Rest First Baptist Church in Travelers Rest, SC. She was a homemaker.Surviving are a son, Mike Batson of Saluda, NC.A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, November 20, 2017 in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville, SC with Chaplain Matt Monroe officiating.
