—Early Wednesday, November 20th, Nancy grabbed her dance shoes and left us.A curious, creative, compassionate soul who loved everyone. She loved animals more than people; with the exception of daughter Summaiya and grandson Tristan who both meant the world to her.Born in Burlington, Vermont, Nancy was lucky to have traveled extensively, just not enough in the last few years because of health issues.Nancy was predeceased by amazing parents, Donald and Mary Ann Marburg; sisters Kathy and Karen and so many animals; dogs and others, including flying squirrels, birds, raccoons, mice, you name it, she fed and cared for the critters.Nancy will be forever loved by so many - Summaiya, Tristan; sisters; Joanne, Kristin and Ellen; and family and friends.You will find Nancy's spirit in Tryon, NC, on the hiking trails in Idaho, sister's memorial in Beloit, WI; beautiful property in God's country Vermont; the lakes of Minnesota; Pearson Falls, NC; Norway, Portugal; and many other travels she will accompany now with her daughter and sisters.In Nancy's memory; we wish any memorials, good wishes, good karma or volunteer time be sent or spent at Foothills Humane Society, Columbus, NC or your local animal shelter.The family would like to thank so many; our wonderful extended family, friends of the United Methodist Church - Tryon, NC, and the Hospice House in Landrum, just to name a few.A celebration of life will be planned after the holidays.Love you over the moon and back and forever …rest in peace Nancy. -Goethe-
