Mill Spring, NC- Louise Arledge, 90, of Mill Spring, died February 10, 2009 in St. Luke's Hospital. Born in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Burgan and Willie Mae Edwards Morris. She was the widow of William Martin Arledge who passed away in 1981. Mrs. Arledge was a member of Silver Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by four children, William Arledge, Jimmy Arledge, Lula Mae Walker and John Glenn Arledge all of Mill Spring, NC, two sisters, Doris Henderson of Spartanburg, SC and Mazie Cartee of Inman, SC, one brother, Billy Morris of Inman, SC. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Blake, Andy, Jeremy and Joseph Arledge and two great grandchildren, Devon and Katie Arledge. Mrs. Arledge was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sheila Walker. A memorial service will be Friday, February 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Silver Creek Baptist Church, Mill Spring, NC with Dr. Chris Osborn officiating. A private burial will be at a later date. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to a charity of your choice.
