MILL SPRING, NC -- Myrtle Price Williams, 92, of Mill Spring, NC died Monday, June 22, 2009 at the home of her daughter Erselle Shehan in Landrum, SC. Born in Polk County, NC she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Splawn Edwards. She was first married to Roy W. Price who died in 1990 and was the widow of George E. Williams who died in 2003. Surviving are: a son, Jerry Price (Elaine) of Mill Spring, NC; a daughter, Erselle Shehan (Bobby) of Landrum, SC. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Two daughters-in-law, Molly and Diane Price. She was preceded in death by two sons, James W. and Eugene Price and a daughter, Alice Marie Price. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC prior to the funeral service. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC with Rev. Chuck Mullinax officiating. Burial will be in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Mill Spring, NC. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Erselle & Bobby Shehan, 908 Spivey Creek Rd., Landrum, SC.
